Try the main controls

Attack, Release, Offset, and Amount work like the sliders in the script. Press play to hear a pass that follows the curve. Below it, the same settings are applied to every item on a track.

How it works

1. Select a track

   Select the track with your items. If it's a folder, the script includes the child tracks. Make a time selection to work on part of the track.

2. Run nvk_AUTODOPPLER

   It finds each item's RMS peak, or uses its snap offset, and writes automation for every item at once. The automation updates as you move the sliders.

3. Render

   Render the time selection, or the whole track. With Split takes on, each item gets its own take.

Features

• Peak detection

  Uses each item's RMS peak, or its snap offset if you've set one. Offset moves the peak earlier or later.

• Envelope and playrate sliders

  Attack, Release, Offset, and Hold shape the envelope. Amount and Multiplier set the playrate swing. Changes apply to every item on the track or folder.

• Randomize

  Press R to randomize all sliders. Each slider has its own randomization amount, and per-item randomizing gives every item in a batch different settings.

• Quick Render

  Renders the selected items with your last settings, without opening the window. With one item selected, the peak goes where you place the edit cursor.

• Custom mode

  nvk_AUTODOPPLER - Custom writes the same automation to any FX parameter you touch, such as a filter cutoff or a reverb mix.

• Saved with the project

  Settings are stored on the track, the project, and each item, so reopening the script picks up where you left off.
